'The In Between': Hardcover

11 songs, hand bound, limited edition

The idea of creating a Lyric Book companion to my album started in 2023 before the record's official September release. When I was feeling in over my head, daydreaming about spending the autumn and winter hand binding this collection of songs myself was a light at the end of the tunnel. Here they are, nearing the end of 2024, ready to leave my apartment and into your hands.

Friend and artist Jillian Rumsey did me the honour of creating illustrations that paired with each song like two old friends holding hands. I've admired her art and her spirit for years, so it's special to have Jillian's work integrated with these lyrics.

This grew into a bigger passion project than anticipated, and was a companion to waves of processing waiting for me. Things happen in their own time, and I'm a little closer to accepting that and letting it. I hope you enjoy engaging with these lyrics through this medium. I certainly enjoyed making their new home xx
